There’s a reason for Billie’s red ties beyond the band’s new style. In fact, the new style came from Billie’s tie.

Mike was the one who insisted Billie should wear it. He didn’t tell the singer why he wanted him to wear the tie. Instead, he waited and showed Billie exactly what the appeal of it was.

When Billie was on the bed in his and Mike’s bedroom, hands bound by the scrap of fabric, Mike right there with him, he suddenly understood why Mike wanted him to wear a tie.

And as for the red? Well, Mike likes red.
