Tuesday was the first day of school this year, and as usual, a few people were missing (three, I think). Which happens. Either they're sick or they've overslept or they've just not bothered to go. Whatever.

Point is, while it's very empty when people are missing, it's nothing you think about if it's just one day, since hey, someone's almost always missing.

So anyway, there we were, in class, and the teacher was checking to see who was missing. And when she got to one of the girls, Sofia, who's my best friend at school (and boy, that says something about how often I write about RL stuff here, doesn't it, that I haven't mentioned her before? Lolz), leaned over and whispered that oh, apparently this girl who was missing has OD'd on something and is now in a coma.

I just...

I mean, I'm not sure where she got it from - the mother of someone knew something and had said to to someone who said it to Sofia? So it's all kind of he-said-she-said at this point, and Sofia said that too, that she's not sure whether it's true.

But we're both getting really worried, since this girl hasn't been to school at all yet this year, which, yeah, three days so far. While that's not too long, really, and there might be an explanation for all this - another explanation, I mean - it is the first week; you'd think she'd be here. And apparently Emil (random guy in my class) has tried calling her, and she hasn't picked up.

Sofia asked Nina, our (sucky) English/Swedish teacher today, and she was all "well, I'm not really allowed to say anything about it, of course, but I've talked to Åke, and I don't think she's doing too well" or something along those lines. Oh, and Åke is my Math teacher. Look, the first really Swedish name! ... Ahem. Anyway, yeah. It's also not entirely unlikely that she'd do drugs.

So all those things sort of add up to make me kinda worried.

Speaking of school, though, I now start at 10:10 on Fridays, which, yay! 9:40 bus here I come. Which, you know, nicer than 7:35, definitely.

Zomg I have absolutely no appropriate icons for this post.

Q out.

Huh. Ja...
