Huh. Long time no see. I haven't posted for, what, two months? Awesome.

Um. I guess rl-wise the biggest thing that's going on right now is we're moving, in about three weeks. :D I am very excited about this.

As for fandom, I sort of went and got really into Due South. Oops? Also, I haven't seen the last two seasons yet, so no spoilers, plz. (Though fic has kind of taken care of that already. Not the point.)

Other stuff... I graduated. I still spend way too much money on perfume and stuff (waiting on a lab order and two decant circle packages right now \o/). I'm rewatching ER; I started on the third season yesterday. I'm going to IKEA tomorrow.

Um. Yeah.

Bye xp

I found your journal by mistake and started reading it, so umm... hope you don't mind if I comment.

I totally got spoiled by Due South fics, even if I try to avoid it. It's kinda hard when you're barely halfway through season one and most of the fics out there are Fraser/RayK and you're only *supposed* to be aware of Vecchio's existence.

The show is still awesome, even when you know stuff you shouldn't :S

Oh, no, I don't mind.

So did I. I mean, I was spoiled about Kowalski showing up before I even knew Vecchio existed, if that makes sense XD Since I first heard about the show through all the SGA writers who've also written DS at some point, and pretty much everyone wrote Fraser/RayK. So I knew there was going to be a RayK at some point. I remember being very confused when reading the cast/character list on Wikipedia and noticing there were two Rays. So then I had to figure out which one was the one I (thought I) wanted. I was kind of disappointed when I realized it was the second one. (The fact that I totally swing both Rays now, kind of even more towards Vecchio, is not the point XD)

Anyway, all the Wikipedia reading and stuff sort of spoiled me a whole lot.

And then I started reading fic and I am so very spoiled for the end of the series. I've at least started on season four now.

It's quite similar for me. I had seen (and loved) Hard Core Logo, with Callum Keith Rennie, and when I looked for some fics I noticed most of the writers had written DS as well, so after a while I decided "why not?" and read one. It's not something I usually do, reading fic from shows I don't know about, but I liked it and didn't really mind being spoiled because I didn't think the show would air on tv again anytime soon (there are some shows from three or four years ago I wanted to see again but never had the chance to, and it's been what? 15 years since DS first aired?). But then it did air again - I found it by mistake one night, lucky me, it was the first ep. - so since then I try to avoid spoilers, even if we both know that's kinda impossible xD.

I tried to avoid spoilers at first, in fic and such, but then I ended up reading more and more post-CotW anyway, and by now I don't even care XD

I want to see HCL at some point. But I think I'm going to finish Due South at first, at least. xp

HCL was awesome, though I was spoiled as well (surprising, huh?). I had started watching it last year on the Internet, and only had about 30 minutes left to watch when the vids were removed ... So it took a while before I could see the ending (not that I didn't already know what was gonna happen). I thought it was great, also I plan on seeing it again sometime, just that I think I'll buy it this time (yay for dvd commentary - that should be quite interesting).

I'm also considering buying DS DVDs. The eps they play here air only once a week - which is normal... but the wait is a bit too long for me knowing that I could watch the whole series in a matter of weeks x)

I think I'm gonna buy it too.

I only own the first two seasons on DVD. I'm going to buy the third and fourth as soon as I get money. XD How much have you watched?

Oh, not much. I'm only halfway through season one. After 'A Holiday in Chicago'. :S It's only been playing since July, so I'm not very far yet. That's why I'm thinking about buying it.

Funny thing, I even got one of my friends - who doesn't speak nor understand english very well - into the show. Well... I do suspect it had something to do with her thinking that Fraser is hot, but she did seem kind of interested in the plot xD
