This is a problem, considering I need to get up in, oh, five hours. Also, tomorrow I have a full day of school (that's eight hours, plus two hours on buses), with discussions, phonetics quizzes, and the last grammar class before the test.
Yay.

Oct. 4th, 2009 09:12 pmOh great. So on Tuesday I have a discussion of language and gender for my English course. Naturally I've been procrastinating when it comes to the preparation. I just looked at the list of "additional literature" for the discussion, and A, it's a lot, and B, it is supposedly "accessible on Fronter", only I'm not seeing it anywhere. Great. So now I had to email the teacher, meaning I'm basically showing her I haven't even started reading it yet, and also, I have to think of at least three questions by 2PM tomorrow, so it would be great if I could find the literature before then. But oh well. I guess there's not a lot to be done about it now. Ezcept emailing the teacher and hoping she gets back to me early tomorrow.
... This is the point where I should learn from my mistakes and stop procrastinating, right? Yeeeah, about that...
I have a feeling that's not really gonna happen.
ETA: Additional literature is uploaded. Also turns out I had the day wrong; the discussion is on Wednesday, not tomorrow. But I still have to send those questions today.

Sep. 15th, 2009 06:12 amWhat I'd like to do right now: Go back to sleep for another, oh, three hours or so, then watch an episode or five of Due South, finish reading the two or three fics I'm halfway through, and maybe get some more stuff done in my new room.
What I have to do: Finish getting dressed, brush my teeth, spend an hour on a bus, then discuss the language of politicians and have an hour and a half of grammar. And then meetmaccadole.
All of this would be quite fine by me, really (I rather like going by bus, actually, and English, andmaccadole as well, for that matter XD) except I'm kiiiinda tired. But then, I guess getting five and a half hours of sleep will do that to you.

Um. I guess rl-wise the biggest thing that's going on right now is we're moving, in about three weeks. :D I am very excited about this.
As for fandom, I sort of went and got really into Due South. Oops? Also, I haven't seen the last two seasons yet, so no spoilers, plz. (Though fic has kind of taken care of that already. Not the point.)
Other stuff... I graduated. I still spend way too much money on perfume and stuff (waiting on a lab order and two decant circle packages right now \o/). I'm rewatching ER; I started on the third season yesterday. I'm going to IKEA tomorrow.
Um. Yeah.

Apr. 22nd, 2009 02:38 pmI got my BPAL order today! And one of my decant circle packages too. Everything seems really awesome. I mean, seriously. Of the... I guess twenty or so? (ETA:22) new scents I have, there's maybe two I really don't like, and quite a few that'll very possible be favourites of mine once I've tried them. And I got... I think three? imps off my wishlist as frimps as well.
Let's not mention the fact that I managed to spill about a third of one of my bottles. First time I opened it. *facepalm*
ETA: Damn. Something on me smells delicious but I don't know what it is. XD
