dancing fancy pirouettes

I just finished my religion homework. Well, I finished what I suppose is the first draft. I asked my mum to read it. I'll probably have to change/add some stuff. I just couldn't keep writing on it, I've been working on it for hours. Hopefully it won't need that much more work, because seriously. So sick of that now.


Also finished the last of my Christmas presents yesterday yaye. Except possibly I'm getting a book for my grandparents as well. Not sure about that.

So. School's started again. Everything seems okay so far.

I also went to the traffic school place today and signed up. Starting with the theory Tuesday September 9.



Also, late last week, there was an impromptu visit by maccadole - nothing unusual there - and mesmorizee - somewhat... less common? xp Since it takes about five hours by bus - and we watched The Shrine*. There was much squeeing over boys.

*) In fact, we watched it three times within 24 hours. And then after mesmorizee went home, Mac and I watched it again. \o/

Two random thoughts on The Shrine by mesmorizee, maccadole and frejasanne!
( Spoilers, obvz, but nothing huge. )

So I fail at the whole commenting-on-flist thing. I've been reading everything, just, uh, not commenting. Because I'm awesome like that.

I've also been working on a secret knitting project for a few days (in fact, I finished it today). There'll be pics at some point in the future.

Other stuff... Oh, right XD I managed to convince mum to watch Duet with me yesterday. She thinks Ronon and Teyla ought to get together. She also laughed at a couple things, which, hey, progress! She's watched Underground, ages ago, which she didn't like. Understandably. It's probably not a good first-ever Stargate ep xp But yeah.

Also, speaking of Duet, yay Rodney! Rodney pretty!


I have three days of school left. I have to write the Dracula thing before Monday. I'm procrastinating. Yay. Not. I know what I'll be doing tomorrow. (Oh, and by "three days of school", I mean "two days where I won't even have all of my classes and one day spent sitting in the park". Awesome.) Also a party on Wednesday afternoon. This is actually the first party in two years (aka ever) for my class (and no one else, obviously). We're awesome like that.

Also watching Coppola's Dracula (paused halfway through because dad is watching Desperate Housewives). Am squeeing way too much over Quincey, of all characters? But hey, he wasn't in the other two! And also, Anthony Hopkins as van Helsing kind of wins at life a little.


Um, I think that's mostly it. Except I don't have anything more to do at school this week, yay! And right now, I have, oh, ten (school) days left? And then eleven weeks off, during which I will, among other things, be going to London to see David Tennant in Hamlet. :D
