tl;dr! With some ADB and SGA and stuff.

.. Huh. So I was sure I posted a week ago, but apparently I didn't. Because, well, auto-saved draft and all that. But I was still sure I posted it! Wtf.
Anyway, here it is.
There. Whatever. It'll do.
I mean, I'm not all that happy with it, but whatever. It's SGA, at least.
Now I just need to fix my user info and icons and stuff. I mean, really.
Oh well. Gotta go write some stuff about, like, technology. And stuff. I get paid, but I still just. I dunno. I don't know where to start.
Oh, and ADB was love. I mean, the second half was kinda more angsty than fun, but still, yay. So that was nice. ^^ I might write some more about it later on, like a serious review. (And by "serious review", I mean "squee because David Hewlett! With the awesome!", but, you know. Whatever.)
Well. Ok. Looking at it now, when it's not three in the morning, I'm not way too late for bed (only, you know, a little xp) and I haven't been staring at it for hours, well. That's... really kind of boring, isn't it? I suppose I should try to do something better. Or something. But I'm no good at the graphics thing! Meh.
And I still haven't fixed my userinfo. Or the icons. Oops? :P
Wrote the technology thing. Yayz monies! :D
And now, finally, for the actual point of this post. First of all, ADB.
I watched it over MSN with
maccadole, and we really liked it. That was the first time, btw. xp (And when I say "over MSN", I mean we both had the file on our computers and synced the start. Yay.)
Then we ended up watching it on DVD on... Wednesday, I think? I mean, it wasn't planned; in fact, we were planning to watch it later with a friend. But I put the DVD in the player, we watched a few minutes, and then we watched Heroes on TV, and even though we were both really tired, we somehow ended up watching it all again. So that was fun. And can I just say it's way better the second time around, because it really is. I mean, the first time, when you think Ryan is actually dead, it's really sort of angsty. And yeah, while you do know about the twist at the end, the humour parts are way more fun the second time around, since you know it's not real, even though Patrick doesn't.
And then we were going to watch it with said friend, but we were baking and stuff before that and after watching Cube Zero* we - well, she; Mac and I were all "come on, watch it anyway!" - decided that no, it was way too late. And that would be the time when Mac and I should probably have gone to bed, but no. Instead we watched it again. That was... Unexpected. But we'd been saying during the day that if we watched it it'd be the third time in a week, so we couldn't not, really. Also, I'd been really looking forward to watching it again, and I think she had as well, so that was fun. Even though we ended up sleeping about six hours. Ahem.
So, in conclusion: I love A Dog's Breakfast and want to have its babies. Or David Hewlett's. Or something.
*)Nice. Cube was good, because, um. David Hewlett. xp (Seeing the theme here?) Cube 2 - Hypercube mostly sucked because it was so weird. And Cube Zero was actually unexpectedly good. Especially, uh, what was his name... Jax? The guy with the cane and the eye and all? Yeah, him. He was quite awesome. Yay.
Oh, and. January 5th? Well, that means Joe Flanigan's birthday~~! Wheee. There are picspams everywhere and he is just so. pretty. Which, yeah, not exactly news, but still. It's also entirely possible that I'm wearing a black wristband right now because of a certain Lt. Col. Ahem.
And yeah, Paul McGillion's birthday as well, but because of the whole Joe issue, he's kinda neglected. Poor Paul.
Happy Birthday to them, anyway. ^^
Also having thoughts for an SGA crackvid. We'll see what happens with that.
Okay, so I'm normally not a fan of Sam being in SGA at all (and by that I mean as a main character - the guest star thing, well, whatever) but still. I was so on her side. (Yeah, the whole Ellis vs. Rodney thing.) Yay Sam!
Also, Teyla finally told them! Yay! Ronon! <3 With the awesome. And I really really hope we get to see Rodney's reaction, because come on. Yay.
Um, cool with the Elizabeth thing, but Torri was just supposed to be there for four eps, wasn't she? So now what? Nothing until season five?
Oh, and! Late dinner! Oh boys <3 It seems they always have to end on some sort of McSheppy scene lately. And by "lately" I mean, well. Miller's Crossing? Check. This Mortal Coil? Check. Be All My Sins Remember'd? Check. I mean, I don't remember how The Seer ended, but still. That's three in a row. Hope they keep this up. (Okay, so here's my theory: They know we all like McShep, and so, no matter how much they screw up the actual ep, they can just throw a scene like that in at the end of the episode, we'll squee and die and generally forget about how awful the episode was overall, and then we'll watch it next week anyway. That's my theory and I'm sticking with it. ... And I realize this makes it sound like I find SGA awful or something, which I definitely, definitely don't. I <3 it and I think season 4 is really, really good. But more like, you know, just in case? If they're worried it's not good enough for some reason (like, you know, a huge magnetic!Repliball? xp) they throw in a John/Rodney scene and everybody's happy. xp)
Oh, and FRAN. Okay, they have to bring her back. I mean, it'd be so stupid of them not to. I thought something was gonna go wrong with her during the episode, but it didn't, and yeah. That was weird. I just hope they do something about her later on, because there's no point at all in introducing her otherwise.
But anyway, I really liked her, actually. She reminded me of April from the BtVS episode I Was Made To Love You. Mostly because of the robot thing. xp
And isn't it weird that Rodney creates a dark-haired Replicator? You'd think he'd go all out and go for a blonde.
Oh, ok, I'm gonna stfu now, because really, this post is getting very very very long. Ahem. And I should also go to bed. As usual. It seems I'm always late for bed. xp
Whoa, this got long, didn't it? Um, oops? xp ... Apparently I've been writing on this for, oh, 41 minutes? Okay, sure. And that still doesn't include the autosaved part. Um. Wtf. Sure.
Q out.
Anyway, here it is.
